Consultation
When it comes to creating our product, we are firstly given a brief to review and look at and then we will arrange an initial first meeting with our client who has set a live brief. when meeting the client we film a brainstorm with the client negotiating or settling any conditions within the brief that may be variable. while we are still with the client we decide to share our ideas that we have come up with just by viewing the brief , then the client will give us feed back as to what he wants.
Pitching
when it comes to pitching the final idea to the client one idea needs to be chosen and heavily developed and you need to produce a folder or portfolio as such for the client to browse through as you pitch your idea with your team. this portfolio must contain:
- Production budget
- Treatment
- Production Plan
- Designs
- Potential Problems with Health and Safety, Budget, Practical skills and Resources
- Possible Solutions
Production
when it came to production we had to first of all arrange a day when we can all attend the shoot and we would of also needed to gather props and permission to film prior to beginning production. so when creating the idents we would need our talent sourced and at the location at the correct time. also we would need all our equipment charged and ready to use in order for the shoot to run smoothly.
Post Production
when it comes to post production this is when we review and leave our editor to sort the footage and begin to create a rough cut and then once we have a sequence we can begin to add special effects to our basic bare bones structure of a sequence that being our rough cut, once the final cut is finished and rendered this is when we consult the client again.
Review and Distribution
once we have the finished product before we distribute them, we will need one more initial meeting with the client so he can review the footage and give us feedback on anything that he would like changed or added, so that we can get the product the closest to the client initial specifications and ideas which can help us move on to the next stage which is distribution, because this ident is for CTK's channel it will be distributed on YouTube and will gain revenue if the video is monetised.
